I'm JM — Jeanmarc Alexandre — founder of Alexandre Labs and the person building TalkEditPro. I've spent 25 years in music and audio production, including producing music and content for houses of worship and years spent producing audiobooks the hard way.

That's the part that started this. I watched authors lose months — and thousands of dollars — stitching together recording software, audio editors, mastering plugins, and submission portals just to narrate their own books. The tools existed, but no one had put them in one place for the person who actually matters: the author behind the microphone.

So I built TalkEditPro. Record in your browser, let AI handle the tedious editing, master to distribution standard, and deliver to every major platform — without leaving the page. It's a solo-founder product and an honest v1, rough edges and all. But it already does the one thing that matters: it gets your voice from manuscript to a distribution-ready audiobook.

A few beliefs are baked into it. Your readers want to hear you, so the narration should always be yours — AI assists your performance, it doesn't replace it. Production is a project with an end, not a subscription you forget to cancel, so you pay once per book. And the price should reflect the work, not take a cut of your royalties for the life of the title.
